We’re delighted to announce that the B2B PR Blog has been declared the UK’s best business blog at the 2013 Social Media Communications Awards.
Last week, the B2B PR Blog came top of the Best Business Blog category at the Social Media Communications Awards, which were held at the Emirates Stadium in London.
The prestigious trophy recognises the blog that has employed great content and personality to raise the profile and reputation of a business or organisation.
Supported by media partner PRmoment as well as the CIPR and PRCA, and now in its fourth year, the Social Media Communications Awards recognise the very best in social media communications in the UK. Other nominees in our category included Heart Internet, Minute Steak and Turquoise Tiger.
When we created this blog just over eighteen months ago, I hoped it would be a resource for both PR professionals and people working in B2B industries on how to devise and implement successful B2B PR campaigns.
The blog now attracts over 5,000 readers a month, has one of the biggest PR communities on Facebook and has had fantastic feedback from within the industry.
I’m pleased that our hard work on the B2B PR Blog has been recognised and I look forward to continuing to serve the B2B PR community with our articles authored by thought-leaders in the industry and original ebooks, such as our recent Guide to Appointing a PR Agency.
It was great to chat to (both in person and, somewhat appropriately, on Twitter) some other key players in this community at the ceremony and finally put some faces to names. I look forward to what’s in store for the B2B PR Blog in 2014.
